- Local policy mandates that students participating in athletics maintain an accumulative grade point average of 1.75 or better for all work competed through the preceding semester (summer school will be included). Ineligibility is for the next semester. Any student not meeting the standard can obtain one probationary "season" in their high school career.
- Local policy mandates participating students must
pass 2.5 credits each six weeks. Students' grades will
be checked every three weeks. A student failing to meet
this standard will be ineligible until the next check.
Ineligibility can be reduced to one week if the student
is passing after one week.
- Athletes must have passed all sections of the Ninth
Grade Proficiency Tests, or attend all school-sponsored
assistance sessions, in order to remain eligible for
participation.
- School and activity discipline policies and requirements
are in effect twenty-four (24) hours per day, seven
(7) days per week during the "season" of
the activities. A "season" is defined as the period
from the first through the culminating event of the
activity.
- Further clarification is encouraged and can be sought
by contacting the PHSN Athletic Director, Mark
Aprile.
